Somerset Core Induction Programme

Core essentials for all practitioners

 The SCIP Programme covers the key elements of the 'Common Core of Skills and Knowledge' as set out in 'Every Child Matters: Change for Children' (2004.) This training is the starting point for the Level 2 Certificate or 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce and is linked to the workforce area specific Induction Standards.
