Child Protection Basic Awareness In House Training

SCIL can provide up to 4 hours of training in your setting when you have an inset day stating from a cost of £200 per 15 learners (over 15 learners price on request).  This price includes tutor and materials including individual learner certificates plus a setting certificate.

Due to the nature of the training, the room you provide must meet SCIL Health and Safety requirements as per the booking form.

This is course is basic awareness training for Safeguarding and Child Protection, which needs to be updated every 2/3 years.  Can be used as update training or for new staff.

What topics/themes will be covered? 

• Recognising signs of abuse
• Responding to disclosures of abuse and reporting processes
• Legal framework
