Life story workshops are run by Ruth Lawrence Adoption Coordinator and Sue Moffat Post Adoption Support Coordinator for social workers and other professionals involved in the adoption process.

The workshops provide the opportunity to discuss the complex information which needs to be given to adoptive families and the children regarding their birth history and how to ensure this is done in an appropriate, honest and sensitive manner.

We offer advice, guidance, group exercises, and the opportunity to look at examples of life story books and later life letters and discuss individual cases.
