SCIL provide high quality training and development opportunities for those working and volunteering with children and young people.
Somerset Centre for Integrated Learning (SCIL) is a team within Somerset County Council's Children and Young People's Directorate. We provide a range of training opportunities to those within the wider Children's Services ensuring training is appropriately targeted and delivered wherever possible in a multi agency way.
We work collaboratively with a number of different organisations including voluntary and community partners, HEI abd FE providers ( Universities and Colleges), national strategic partners, Local Authorities and awarding bodies. We are committed to delivering a service that actively seeks the views of children, young people and families and we use their feedback to shape our services.
